Major design flaw best in power strips and surge protectors

Needed for vertical wall mounting. The grounding plug on the sockets must be in the down position after wall mounting. This is critical to the safe operation of larger equipment such as transformers that accompany security systems and thermostats. However, the mounting holes on the back of this unit are designed to accept the output pads on top. Terrible engineering and unsafe.
