Review on Enhanced Jerdon HL65N 8-Inch Lighted Wall Mount Makeup Mirror with 5x Magnification, Sleek Nickel Finish by Monica Smith

I bought a battery operated mirror here at Revain thinking I wouldn't need a wired mirror but was quick to return it as the light didn't work. After researching many backlit wall mirrors, I decided to try this one mainly because the price wasn't outrageous and it had all the features I was looking for. I was hesitant to order because of the negative reviews but I'm so glad I bought it! I like this mirror very much! The light and magnification (5x) is perfect for me (oh my god I don't think I want 8x or 10x - YIKES!). The 5x mag page is great for eye makeup or finding broken hair :0 It came with all the mounting hardware and my husband installed it in under 10 minutes (5 minutes really I think!). (It took me longer to figure out where I wanted it, height etc.) I also like the 8" diameter, don't think I would want anything smaller. The light is perfectly bright and I agree with another reviewer that if it were a little brighter it would probably introduce flare (I know the light doesn't look that bright in the photos I uploaded but trust you me when you have the face in front of you (it's VERY bright!) Both sides of the mirror have excellent clarity without any distortion whatsoever! The mirror does fog up a bit while I'm in the shower, but when I wash my face and wet my face, the fog clears up without me having to wipe it off. away from the wall so I don't have to lean forward when applying makeup and fold up when not in use. The only small downside is that the light gets a little warm, but I can deal with that as the light is only on when I'm putting on makeup. I would highly recommend this mirror to anyone looking for one that pops out of the wall and has light. It's sturdy, well built and looks to me like a more expensive mirror (similar to the mirror at the Disney Resort we stayed in in January have stayed overnight).
