I would like to contact the seller directly but I don't see a way so I'm leaving a review. I just received the rug in the mail and I'm already looking forward to this innovative rug for collecting and storing rubbish. I opened the package and I'm not exaggerating in the slightest, but the STRONG stench of cat pee came out of this package. It's not a rubber or chemical smell at all, it's definitely cat pee. My husband confirmed this and if I could risk my cats smelling it and pissing on it I would leave it for a day or two to check on visitors! However, I will box it up and put it on the porch for UPS to pick up. I would like to know why and how this happened, or if anyone else experienced this? I've seriously sniffed the carpet over 10 times because I just can't believe it can smell like cat pee. I want it to be a factory chemical. But that's not the case! It's urine! As?! Why?! I think someone used it, didn't like it, and before returning it their cat peed on it.? Or maybe it was a "test mat" and the local quality control kitty was upset with his boss for not providing fresh Atlantic salmon for lunch and urinated on the mat in revenge? I hope no one else has his problem but thought I'd share it in hopes of getting some sort of explanation.
