My daughter is a little older (7) but still loves to all "pretend play", we've had several of these carts over the years & since the last broke, she's been asking for a new one. I've had a hard time finding one that wasn't geared toward toddlers, despite older kids loving this. I wanted this set because I noticed it was 2-3 inches taller than other ones that were $60+, plus it came with food!Assembly didn't take too long, I don't love the seat- I assumed it was plastic and it's kind of flimsy & small, and dolls either don't fit or tend to sit awkwardly. The best part is that the wheels rotate so it's much easier to push around compared to back & forth ones we've had before. It's pretty thin so I wouldn't bring it outside to play because I'm pretty sure it'd fall apart. This also isn't my first go around with cardboard boxed "food" & I've been through enough aggravation/rolls of tape to know they truly aren't even worth assembling because they will be destroyed.
