We bought the camera just over a week ago but I'm still learning. I'm very impressed to get all of this for less than $40. The image quality is very clear and I really like being able to scan the room through the app on my phone. We installed another camera in our living room that has a lot fewer options. And now I really saw the light. This camera is a lot more advanced than I initially expected. The motion detection feature is really very cool. It will warn you every time. I installed the camera in our kitchen near our new cat feeder. I wanted to look at his patterns and see if he comes out there more than in the other room. As Milo entered, the camera spotted him and began following his movements. He was fascinated by the sound made clear but not loud by the clicking and panning of the camera. Of course, you also have the option of setting it up so that it does not move. At night it looks black and white, while during the day everything is painted in bright bold colors. I highly recommend this product if you have children. There is an amazing function when your baby is crying, which is very important for parents. One of my favorite things is when you click play it shows how long the camera has been detecting motion. It doesn't stop recording after a few seconds like my other camera does. If there is movement in front of it, it takes a few minutes, or how long the movement lasts. I miss entire chunks of playtime with my cat on another camera because it only captures a few seconds at a time and it's so frustrating. Another fun feature is the ability to take pictures or record live or via playback. There is space for a micro SD card directly in the camera, or you can store it in the cloud. In summary, you are getting a really good deal when you buy a camera. Hope you enjoy it as much as I do.
