When buying a larger car seat I chose a Britax as we used to have a Britax child seat. I like that it has cup holders and they are easy to remove. It's easy to take apart and put back together, although it can be a little tricky the first time. I toss the soft material into the wash on a gentle setting and hose off the leftovers. Hang everything up to dry and reassemble. The car seat is heavy, so I recommend buying a second one if you need it in more than one car. Sometimes I take it out of the car to shake off the accumulated crumbs.
