I use citric acid and water to rinse my hair and skin after bathing. The recipe is one teaspoon in two glasses of water. I just spray it on my skin, hair and swimsuit after I get out of the pool to neutralize the chlorine. Leave on for a minute or two, then rinse. Then I use shampoo and conditioner for hair and body washes on the skin. In the past, even after scrubbing with washcloth, shower gel, and lotion with my usual skin care routine, my skin was very dry and smelled of chlorine. My hair was dry and brittle. Since using citric acid, my skin and hair no longer smell of chlorine after bathing and are in much better condition. Such a great find! And reading other reviews I see that there are many other uses for citric acid.
