Strikingly nice lamp, not very nice light

Pretty nice lamp. At first I thought it was a mistake that it's painted plastic because it's so light, but yes, the case is actually metal, albeit very, very thin. Handle with care! It works well, lights up well, dimming and switching works smoothly, but the LEDs are typically Angry Blue, which is synonymous with LED lights and lights that scream "LED!!!". At night, the "cool white" light is just harsh and hard on the eyes. I'm sorry but I'm a tint snob. I prefer warmer, more natural light. I have to admit I bought the flashlight to eviscerate its insides and replace the LED block with warm-warm white LEDs (2000K, candle-like, even warmer than 2700K, warm-white, like incandescent bulbs). Light bulbs). Probably keep the controller but use parallel lithium cells instead of two D cells. Once this is done, it becomes a thing of beauty! However, the lantern itself is very attractive, the bronze color is quite light and looks like the real thing. The attention to detail is quite nice, actually *really* nice. Overall I'm very happy with it. :)
