Review on Lancrop Women's Athletic Walking Shoes - Women's Shoes and Athletic Gear by Jill Foster

Soft and comfortable with surprisingly good arch support

I wear a size 8.5-9.5 wide or double for bunions and need arch support/bracelets for the prolapsed arches. I also have a pair of hammer toes which makes shoes difficult to wear unless they have a high and wide toe box. I was looking for something to just wear when I get up in the morning to get on my bike and decided to either stretch the toe box or if the shoe was cheap cut slits in the upper, to pick up problem toes. . They were about the right price and the shoes looked soft and stretchy so I ordered them (in green). When they arrived I was surprised to find that not only were they wide enough, stretchy enough and soft enough to be comfortable, but they also had pretty good arch support for a cheap shoe. In addition, the elasticity allows the use of small orthopedic insoles. But what really surprised me was that they were quite cute, and when I wore them to an informal party at my house that night, I received so many compliments - so many that I decided to get another pair in the near future to order .time. I liked the color less so I could cut slits in them! I can recommend them as casual shoes for those who have the same "difficult" feet. (Caution: They may feel too wide due to the stretch. Size: Fits true to size. (I first ordered a size 9.5 and it was too long.) Width: Can be fitted by those with normal, wide or extra wide feet . Arch support: moderate, removable insole, space for orthopedic insoles and socks. o for people with narrow feet.) However, keep in mind that these - at least for me - are not exactly "sneakers" made for long walking are designed. or running, and they don't have the arch support that a sturdy walking shoe would. They're more of a mix of soft sneakers and indoor slippers. They're great indoor shoes, but if like me you need strong arch support, consider adding orthotics. bumps.
