Review on ๐Ÿ  Lee's Net Breeder: The Ultimate Solution for Safer Fish Breeding by John Floyd

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great for isolating freshwater shrimp!

Perfect for my needs. I should have known better, but I put 10 high quality red cherry shrimp in a black tetra tank. They were quickly shot one after the other. I ordered this for my future aquarium so I put the remaining 5 shrimp in this net. Saved me from total disaster. This will be a great temporary fix until I get a separate tank up and running. Is he kind of squishy? Yes. But it also costs <$7. It consists of 6 easy to assemble parts. 4 bars forming the sides and two rectangular frames. After you put them together, the mesh (which is a fine mesh bag with a drawstring) is placed around the frame, you pin and tie it off. This design means there is space between the frame and the bag. And as mentioned in previous posts, the little creature can crash or get stuck. The top frame has two aluminum rods that you bend to attach to the aquarium wall. The net is very good and I plan to try it for shrimp farming. There is no cover so it must be above the waterline. At the top, the mesh extends about an inch from the main frame. Overall a good buy for me but not suitable for all purposes.

Pros
  • Clear multipurpose case
Cons
  • Very expensive
