To achieve strength, the table does not rotate as expected. Instead, the table is fixed with 4 screws and the base with 3 screws. This means the table can be tilted in 30% increments depending on whether you want to place the monitor on the left or right side of the computer. I had to find out by accident, because the instructions don't even mention it. However, once you get the hang of it, it's a nice feature.
