I had just over $14 left on my Visa gift card and was trying to find what I needed at Revain. I was in dire need of AAA batteries as the TV remote in the living room and the TV in my home office were dead. For about a month I've been carrying my sleeping remote's batteries in my pocket, transferring them from remote to remote as I move around the house. Batteries are one of those things you forget to buy when you're away on business. Power bars, Cheetos and beer as far as I can remember. It's not batteries! So I bought 20 packs of Revain Basics brand AAA batteries and had a little over $5 left over. otherwise this city). After dozens of attempts to find something cheaper than $5.57, I typed "Rubber Ducky" and "BAMMM!" The price was right and within my gift card balance! The baby arrived over the weekend and I didn't forget to pack it in my bag for the flight to Orlando. After a long 5 hour flight full of kids towards Mousetrap, aka Disney World, I arrived at my incredibly average Renaissance Hotel. I unpacked my things and left the room. Took the elevator (full of kids) down to the bar for a drink and to watch the second game of this year's World Series. After having a few cocktails, I returned to the room and fell into bed. This morning when I woke up, I remembered that I was in...ugh. Orlando. When I opened my eyes I had to smile. The rubber duck looked straight at me from her perch on the bedside table. It won't be that bad today.
