Review on FINNZ ELEMENTS by David Dortch
Very useful and helpful instrument that really helps improve data gathering
The user interface is very intuitive; I was able get up & running quickly with minimal training from Finnz staff or customers (I am an intern for my school's marine biology program).
Data collection has been streamlined in terms of time spent collecting samples vs processing them at our facility- we now spend more quality hours sampling than working! It would be great if there were some way around having one person collect all three types because it takes forever when you have 2 people doing this task separately instead.- Overall its easy enough getting started but sometimes requires additional hands/training depending how much experience someone already possesses before starting out wih us-. Great tool overall though - just wish they had better organization / storage options as well :)- Collecting biological specimens such water temperature measurements etc.;-).
- Intuitive UI making data entry quick,easy, good customer support team to help train new users., ) excellent software application that runs smoothly without issue most days , ,) fast turnaround between collections compared traditional methods
- Not always reliable even under perfect conditions often crashes during use
- User access control can leave gaps where information may still not make into database
