I read the reviews (both good and bad) and I chose it because the price is minimal. I used the pens last night to mark where I'm going to embroider patterns on the kitchen curtains. These pens are awesome! I did a little test first to see if the iron removed them and it happens right away! There are so many gas stations that if they don't dry up I'll have enough for 5 years. I bought a pen at a craft store and paid about $5 to have the ink wash away. I also had no trouble inserting the bar into the handle. Sometimes you have to take a risk - if the price is low, it's worth trying the product.
