They are not strong. They're like big ziplock bags, but with real zippers (and a little thicker, but not too much). So I spread them out by my bed, filled them up, and then stuffed them under the bed. That way I didn't have to wear them because all my clothes would fall in and unroll (I found out on the first bag by stuffing it in my closet and then wearing it - very embarrassing - and my clothes were ruined). So if you buy them, be aware of that. They are flexible and have no box but are only meant to hold your clothes or whatever. They store dust-free. They worked for what I use them for - now all I have to do is lose weight to wear these clothes. Pooh.
