The concept of weatherproof mats is based almost exclusively on the fact that they are easy to remove and clean. A lot of effort has gone into the design and shape of this product. It fits absolutely perfectly. According to the product description, installation takes 15 minutes. Why does it take so long to install a set of floor mats, you ask? I will tell you. Holes that protrude beyond the ground anchors or are poorly designed. It took me at least five minutes to pair the first anchor. It was such a difficult job that I had to slide one side of the hole onto the anchor and try to hook the other side with a flat head screwdriver. Eventually the screwdriver slipped and I cut my finger. I also scratched some of the floor mats when the screwdriver slipped off. Did I use the right tool? Probably no. Is there an improved option? Absolutely. Again, my main concern is being able to take them out and clean them easily. I won't even think about it because it's so difficult to put back in the car.
