My first time buying beeswax and I was not disappointed! I mixed 50g of beeswax with about 200g of olive oil in a water bath, added some essential oils. This mixture was originally intended to waterproof my shoes, handbags etc and was very effective for the job (simply apply to the item you wish to waterproof and leave for a few days to allow it to soak in). However, the mixture is also the BEST moisturizer I've ever used! I've always had horrible skin problems in winter when the cold wind would tear my skin, but beeswax protects my skin very well and that amount would probably last me for a year.
