I understand that this case isn't for everyone, but I think it's PERFECT for people who use their iPad primarily for reading and writing with the Apple Pencil. It was so annoying holding him back while reading a book on my iPad. I could just take it off, but I still wanted my iPad to be protected. it sounds petty, but I wanted comfort. I'll probably never use my iPad as a computer with a keyboard and all that jazz, so I thought it would be perfect and it is. However, there is a huge cutout on the side of the case if you want to attach a keyboard. The only thing missing from my latest case is a little cut out for my pen but I've been using this case for so long I'm over it lol. This case is cheap, simple and perfect for me and the way I use my iPad.
