Review on Gillette Venus Treasures Disposable Razors by Lashawn Diaz

WOW. I am impressed! Gillette Venus Treasures disposable razors are not only great for removing hair, they also have some really useful features! The handles are comfortable to hold when shaving. The rounded head of the razor allows you to get into those hard-to-shave areas (I always get below the knee!). There is an indicator strip to let you know when your shaver is no longer running at peak performance and is starting to wear out, so you know when it's time to buy a new shaver. My favorite feature of the Gillette Venus Treasure razors? Top and bottom pads surround the razor blade to prevent scratches/cuts from the razor. And let me tell you I NEED this feature as you can't imagine! I shave every day and have shaved since I was a teenager. I can't tell you how many times I've cut myself shaving and some of the cuts even left scars! A few months ago (I was using a different brand of razor than Gillette at the time) I felt chills while shaving my leg and as I was shivering from the cold the razor dug into my skin. MY GOD. I have a 6 inch scar on the front of my leg from this incident. You should have seen all the blood. I'm not exaggerating when I say the bath water turned pink. I grabbed a towel to wrap my leg and got out of the tub while there was still blood on the bathroom rug. This cut bled for a good 30 minutes. Much blood. I was starting to wonder if I should go to the ER to have a look and maybe get stitches. The bleeding eventually slowed down and then stopped altogether, so I didn't go. I bled so much from this incident and was in so much pain from a huge cut on my leg and I NEVER want to experience anything like this again! The pads surrounding the blade of these razors will definitely help prevent cuts and nicks while shaving and it seriously TURNS me in to no end! I have very sensitive skin and have had no problems using this razor on my sensitive skin. No red spots, no little bumps anywhere. This razor is great and I thank Gillette for making a disposable razor that not only works really well but has a lot of great features to keep my skin as healthy as possible!
