I bought this as a bracelet replacement for my daughter about 6 months ago. We originally had an all metal pair of pants but they kept flexing and held up really well considering she wears them 24 hours a day. In the shower, pool and lake. The blue color gets dirty quickly. I'm happy with the purchase as it took so long for an 8 year old but I'm here to buy another metal one! Hope that helps.
