Flavor Chicken Frick a Zee is a quality product when you are looking for a high protein, low phosphorus and low carb product. The texture is a mix of large and small jelly crumbs. I usually mix it with extra water to keep the kittens well hydrated. This is a good choice if your cat loves the taste of poultry. Other flavors are also suitable. Isla Bonita tastes less phosphorus, but also slightly less protein and more carbohydrates. However, it's also not as high in calories as Frick A Zee, so your kitty will need more. Weruva's Paw Lickin Chicken is better in some ways, but more expensive. In comparison, Frick A Zee contains less protein and more fat, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. Finally, if you're looking for something completely carb-free, check out Tiki Cat Koolina Luau. It has more protein, less phosphorus and no carbs, but is more expensive than Weruva. Other benefits: Weruva as a company is transparent and informative about the nutritional content of its products. That also played a role in my purchase decision.
