After applying regular Craft Coat I found that it had no UV protection and that the material wasn't as hard as some of the other epoxies they sell. The first thing I would suggest is that their customers were somehow aware of these facts in advance! Most people don't know anything about SAME's epoxy or other epoxy resins when they discover one of these Stone Coat YouTube videos. The existing Craft Coat looked great before I applied the "Ultimate" Top Coat. It's nothing like! Now it looks like cheap plastic and the only thing I can do is sand it down and apply another epoxy like Art Coat that has UV light. It's a complete nightmare and a lot of work. I watched the Stone Coat video showing the application and had no problem applying it, although the circular lines are a lot harder to remove than you might expect. The main complaint that irks me is that the finish looks like a "sharpened" stone. No way! It looks like a cheap laminate. Stone Coat makes good products, but Top Coat is not one of them.
