I travel a lot (before Covid at least) and have used a lot of travel products over the years. This is a great travel scale, but there's a problem: the units are too small. I don't wear glasses and it can be difficult to read the measurements on the screen in poor lighting. A minor issue in your hotel room, but if you're at the airport trying to use the scale to transfer items from one bag to another, it would be helpful to be able to quickly and easily confirm that you've got the settings correct, especially when traveling around the world between airports ranging from pounds to kilograms. It's not really a problem once you've got it installed as long as you don't have to switch between pounds and kilograms. Instructions suggest that you leave a two-pound pillow in your luggage due to the whims of the aircraft scales. Not a bad idea until you realize that two pounds of weighed carry-on outside the US can be very important. I suggest you find an open scale at the airport (some luggage scales are far from the check-in counters), weigh your luggage on the scale, and then compare it to the travel scale. Then you know what needs to be adjusted for the damping. This way, when you need to transport items, you don't have impatient fellow passengers behind you while you move items and constantly weigh your bag.
