Not Perfect: Radio Antennas
If you look at this article you will know what you need. Here's what I noticed: β’ The connections are loose, not nearly as tight as the XM OEM. I use velcro to hold mine in place. However, it does have a right-angle plug on the end of the radio, which most extension cords don't have, so that's a good thing. β’ You will experience some signal loss. I bought this as an alternative to placing the antenna on the dash behind the windshield. Signal capture is about the same in both cases - about a band lower than what I would get without an extender and with an antenna outside the car.
