Review on 💳 STYLE-90 Credit Card Reader: USB Mini Magnetic Swiper for Swift POS Transactions by Dave Johnson

Somehow I haven't seen any reviews that talk about USB cable quality on any of these mini credit card readers. The people who make them, including this manufacturer, don't describe the cable either. So when you buy one, you don't know what to expect until it arrives. My first reader was made from the same stronger cable and lasted 3 years. The last 2 from OTHER manufacturers worked but the cable on them was very thin and that eventually failed after a year of use. My office is mobile and the laptop has to go back and forth, which puts a bit of a strain on the USB port from time to time. The end that connects to the end of the magnetic reader must also be strong in my environment as it has also been subjected to some stress here and there. Time will tell how well this particular reader stands up to such conditions, at least the cable and attached ends appear to be much more durable than the one it replaces.
