Hidden feature: mounting bracket! (And how to use it)

Edit: I noticed some of the text was missing, so this has been fixed. From a technical point of view, I can say that it works perfectly. I think there aren't too many differences between manufacturers. Glossy plastic isn't my preferred finish, but since most of it is hidden I don't bother too much. For those who do, anti-freeze window spray is a good "bleaching" option. I'm having an issue with the screen not waking from sleep, causing my display settings to switch back to a monitor. Pulling power from the dock will usually wake it up again. I did some research (meaning reading the first ten search results) and it seems to be a common problem with Windows 10. This can be changed in the settings. I haven't gone as far as solving the issue, but I think it should be mentioned. The quality is ok. Not much effort has been put into the appearance. I would say the design falls into the 'doesn't hurt' category. Feel like a toy. For those who need front-facing ports, all ports are on the same side, which may not look elegant, especially with the 12V DC, USB, and graphics ports visible. This dock or port extension has a really cool feature. . It's not advertised and I doubt it's intentional. The plastic element with the rubber seal can be removed by sliding it to the left. I used it to install on my mini desktop that was in dire need of more USB ports and a proper second HDMI output. I used aluminum rivets to keep it level. Technically the PC could supply 12V to save on extra cables. But for now I'm happy with it. I created a template that makes it easy to place and drill holes. Because of this, it can be attached to a clamp, table, server rack, etc. I give this product 5 stars. It's simple, but it works. Hope it helps you to decide.
