I got it as a replacement and now it has become my main fan. It works better than my old dual fan cooler. It runs very quietly, handles my games just fine unless I'm gaming for a long time (I have a really good graphics card, but it tends to get really hot). It's really good for the price and I would recommend it. Just a helpful tip: I took some adhesive-backed foam insulation strips (like the ones that come with portable AC units), cut them into four 1" x 1" squares and stacked them 2 squares thick on each of the corners of the device to slightly lift the laptop and voila! Even better airflow and cooling! My only complaints are that the light can't be turned off (a minor annoyance and by no means a deal breaker) and it's not very comfortable when used directly on my lap (I only use a lap table with it and no problems). If you're looking for a good, economical cooling pad, this is the best I've had. I've only recently had this so I'll be sure if there are any issues!
