The Balisong rotates easily and gently. I've never played with a real blade (my confidence that my fingers will stay intact is low), but the bottle opener certainly impresses me. It's fun to tinker with, I'm sure I can learn a lot of tricks with it over time, and it was cheap enough to be an add-on. What more do you want? Some minor flaws: The hinges have a bit of play as other reviews have noted, but this hasn't been a problem for me so far. I will try to update over time. There are also bad milling marks and slight burn marks on the inside of the handles. This hasn't caused any problems either, but time can teach me otherwise.
