I work at the computer all day and have had all sorts of muscle strains in my upper back and neck - decided to switch to a standing desk and had horrible shin splints after that day of standing at work . I ordered this gel mat and it has changed my ability to stand and work 100%. The rug was sent rolled up, removed from the packaging and laid flat immediately, it is deep and soft, resilient to stand on. The mat itself had no odor, no outgassing at all, which was a critical factor as my LEED certified workspace is not ventilated at all. You can work barefoot, in socks or ballerinas, which I leave at work for this purpose. Everything is equally comfortable. The color is correct. My co-workers are jealous, I think I sold a few for the company and let co-workers try them. I now stand at my elevated computer desk 75% of every workday and it wouldn't be possible without this gel pad. The result is more energy at the end of the day, no pain in your legs or feet.
