Review on 🪑 Baxton Studio Prescott 5-Piece Modern Table and Stool Set with Concealed Storage by Tara Farmer

The first table I received was damaged in transit. Good customer service on that. They sent me shipping labels and sent me a new spreadsheet as soon as they got the first one. The reason for the low sprockets is that the laminate is of poor quality and was already falling apart when I took it out of the box to put it back together. And it scratches very easily. I had a board game on a table and I slid it over the top and now I have a few scratches just from little dust particles that were under the game. Also, the long supports under the table (the ones on the sides for the open area under the table) are like cheap hollow doors. Running my hand over it I can feel the waves where the inner support is, not the hollow sections. Two of my stools are not quite square so the cushions don't fit well. On the plus side, it was easy to put together. The only thing I had trouble with was positioning the table top correctly as it is large and quite heavy. He seems very strong. It's a beautiful color - a very dark, rich brown with just a bit of the wood grain showing through. In general, a decent thing, I was just really hoping that for such a price the veneer would be much better.
