I was pleasantly surprised at how soft these leggings are. (Mine is denim.) I like to wear it inside out because I think it looks better that way and the seam is on the outside, but the seam didn't really bother me when I wore it inside out. have a big, manly neck. Last time I bought a shirt I had to choose a neck size of 18.5-19 inches. These gaiters don't wrap around my shoulders like a shawl, but rather around my neck like a necklace. I doubt I would wear it unless I use it as a face mask. This does not mean that this thing is impractical. If you need to wrap your face in a piece of cloth - and Southwest Airlines says so - then this is the best you can hope for. I prefer my bandana, but Southwest Airlines doesn't allow it. Cotton is much cooler than moisture-wicking polyester, but it's impossible to wrap the fabric around your nose and mouth without discomfort, so don't expect too much. If you have to fly a repressive, politically correct airline, I recommend these leggings. Otherwise, if you feel the need to wear a mask, I recommend going to the Tractor Supply Company and buying a hav-a-hank bandana.
