I bought this to hold my kitten when I'm in class (I don't want to come home with a chewed up phone charger) and when I need to transport her. It really doesn't bother him there! I love that it stretches as well, I don't feel so bad about having to leave it there when I have to go out. I took off a star because I find it odd that the zipper to open the material separating the inner chamber from the expanded chamber is on the outside. So that the material in the expansion part is not pressed into the interior, you must close the boundary wall with a zipper. Well, the zipper for the perimeter wall is not inside the carrier. So in order to raise or lower that boundary wall, you have to open the outside to allow the chamber to expand. Open the exposed part, AND THEN you can reach your hand to the deep left or right corners, find the zipper and close it. Often I would zip up the exposed portion and then go inside to zip up the adjacent wall. If I notice that it doesn't work that way, I have to unpack everything and unpack again. It's annoying.
