I needed something to hold my Galaxy S5 in my 2014 Kia Forte and have tried many different devices. Was looking for something that wasn't a windshield mount and finally gambled on this one. Installation was a breeze, simply used a deep socket wrench to loosen the passenger seat bolt, slipped a brace under the bolt and tightened. I used some zip ties to secure my USB and audio cables to the mount and voila! Holds my GS5 with a case on it and allows me to rotate the phone horizontally or vertically depending on what I need. My ONLY complaint is that it wobbles a bit when riding, wish there was some sort of stabilizing bar.
