Bought this star for a church nativity scene that sits on a real tree and one for a house on an artificial tree. The star's stylish look looks great in a hideout but is also beautiful at home. In both cases, the star's weight relative to the width of the feather and treetop required additional wire support. For the living tree, a small severed branch was cut and secured with floral wire at the top of the tree to add support to keep the star from leaning, and floral wire was used on the artificial tree to keep the star aligned. Definitely has a back side rather than a 360 degree view, but good when it's in place. It was easy to hook up to our pre-wired 4.5 foot artificial tree.
