The extendable antenna ensures better reception with VHF or NOAH weather stations. Has a weather alert function. Leave antenna up to listen to AM stations with internal ferrite antenna. The tuning dial is clear, precise, easy to read and easy to find with the handy wheel on the side. The built-in speaker sounds very good for a pocket radio, with high and low frequencies and an impressive maximum volume. Music or talk radio sounds extraordinary. With no digital clock displays etc., the included 18650 Li-Ion battery (replaceable) lasts a long time before needing to be recharged with the included micro USB cable.
