Comes in a well padded box with scrap wood frame foam padding and styrofoam for protection. That said mine had a few slight, hardly noticable scratches on the top serface in the corners only. Well built metal frame. It was easy to follow the simple directions. The table is a bit heavy and awkward to handle during assembly. Might need 2 people. Note the holes on the bottom of the legs need to be facing parallel to the table ends for the leg cross supports. This means the legs are specific for certain corners. You can accidentally attach a wrong leg and will have to remove it and locate it properly. Although easy to assemble the awkwardness of the table made it about 15 mins to put in 12 bolts. Allen tool is included. The adjustable legs are plastic but do work fine. Mine is for working space while working from home. I like it.
