I've melted, but not the ice in this jar!

Not a baby or mom but a 60 year old woman who wanted a container that wasn't giant sized but more importantly (and I can "Not to stress it enough, I wanted a container that would keep my water cold. Not cool, not warm. Well, the test came for me while attending the People's Climate March in Washington, DC, which turned out to be brooding." (97 degree heat index). I have two of these containers. Both are filled with ice, then water. Filling these containers started at 1:00am before I got on the bus at 2:00am for our trip Connecticut to Washington boarded Washington at 7:45 a.m. One bottle stayed with me and I sipped during the day but washed down with other liquids.Returned to my bus at 4:00 p.m., at 5:00 p.m By the time I left, I still had some ice left in the container he (3 p.m. an hour) and was hot, sweaty and melted. I was given a second water container on the bus. It sat in an unheated closed bus for nine hours in 95 degrees! The bottle outside was warm. Water and ICE - the ice didn't even melt ----- were cold. Not cold, not hot, cold. I rate them 100% great for keeping my water cold. Don't know if it matters, but I didn't use a straw or a spill-proof cup lid, just a metal screw on the lid.

Pros
  • High marks for hold and durability from testers
Cons
  • Not as thick as other options
