Review on Tiki Cat Born Carnivore Low Carb Grain Free Dry Cat Food: Baked with Fresh Meat - Chicken & Egg Recipe - Quality Feline Nutrition by Lauren Yazzie

This food is HEAVY.

First, the set is very strong. So much so that my cat stopped eating it and just licked it but didn't swallow it. However, he licked it with great enthusiasm and seemed to really enjoy the taste. Of course I decided to soften it in hot water. After sitting in VERY hot water for 5 minutes the kibble was still as hard as before so I grabbed a fork and tried to mash the pieces. It took 4-5 minutes to grind just 1/4" cup of this substance. This is where I had my doubts though. After grinding the food I noticed that the flavor had COMPLETELY changed. No wonder when I tenderized, chopped up, food for my cat, he didn't even touch it, although he liked the taste before squeezing it in. In short, I think this food has something sprinkled on it to make it tastier, but the food itself doesn't taste good, at least not to my cat.Now I have a whole bag of very expensive food that my cat won't eat.
