There were some pairing difficulties in the beginning; I can't even tell you exactly what we did to get it working, but it hasn't been an issue since. I don't have to re-pair every time the console turns on like some others have said, it connects fine and it doesn't matter if it turns on first - the controller or the console. The ergonomics are great. One thing I noticed is that when you turn on the controller, you don't press the joysticks, otherwise that position will be calibrated to zero. Very satisfied, especially for the price.
