Needs locking nuts for my opinion

Inexpensive snowblower shear bolts but do not come with lock nuts. Which means you must crimp (compress and bend) the auger tube to make them tight on the drive shaft. Maybe that’s not the end of the world, but I changed the nuts out to nylocks so I could security install them without damage to the auger tube.

Pros

These were the perfect fit for my snow thrower!

Limited Compatibility: The MTD Shear Pins And Nuts 12-Pack is only compatible with specific models of Troy-Bilt and Cub Cadet snow blowers, making it unsuitable for other brands or models
