My son, 8 years old, does not tolerate many shoes, he needs comfortable and light ones. I bought them for a summer camp, he's been wearing them every day for 4 months and they're still holding up, but he doesn't usually ruin his shoes, they're very light and flexible to begin with. The lack of laces is a big plus for us. He'll probably wear them for another 1 month or until it gets cold/rainy/snowing here in New York and that's it. It's worth it! I will buy again next summer! I hope they still sell.
