Please note that I ordered this item for my husband and asked him for a review after wearing it for several weeks. Here is his review: WYuZe Mens Nylon Web Belt No Metal Nickel Free Military Tactical Hiking Belt I read some of the negative reviews but still went with the belts as they were quite cheap. I thought I could return them if I didn't like them. Surprisingly, they exceeded my expectations. Since I have a 42" waist, I went up in size "to 50". I ended up trimming about 6 inches, which leaves a comfortable margin. I was expecting to have to do a wear check, but this "cut end showed no wear at all. Buckle has a somewhat non-intuitive release mechanism; you open it by pulling on the right side when you think you should lift the left side. I found the negative review that it said he can't open it at all, kind of weird. The buckle appears to be "plastic" but appears to be carbon composite. Carbon composite tends to "leak" under stress after a few years , so I wouldn't be surprised if this buckle eventually fails, but for now it works reasonably well and shows no signs of wear.I've worn one of the belts. It's almost a mona now t her and I am pleasantly surprised at the durability of such a light belt. It doesn't tend to pucker at the back (most leather straps have a little "slack" in the middle) and you have to look very closely to see a very slight indentation where the buckle attaches. The belt material shows no noticeable wear or deformation. Pros: Lightweight, very durable, easy to put on and take off (once you get used to opening it properly). Cons: Somewhat plain looking. I like the look of my Trak-Line straps (https://amzn.to/3luG9I9) better than these, but the Trak-Line straps cost me about $60 each (and the leather started cracking after about 4 years ). One star could be deducted for looks but at this price they are solid value for money and I definitely think they deserve 5 stars. For the price difference, I can put up with an inconspicuous belt. Even if it wears off a bit in a year or two, I might switch to a second one. I will still be ahead of the cost per year! Also, with a non-metallic belt, I may not have to take it off when going through security.
