The first thing I thought when I opened it was "Wow, it really has everything I need". It includes a receiver, 1/4" cable, 2 microphones, 2 windshields to prevent rolling and falling, and the antenna is already attached to the receiver, so you don't have to take it out of the box and attach it yourself ... It was very easy to set up and it was literally as easy as a plug and play mic. I just plugged it into my audio interface, plugged in power and added batteries. Let's look at some of the pros and cons. FOR 1st build quality. Everything about this case is solid and metal, and I love it. The knobs are metal and rotate smoothly, the receiver is metal, the microphones are all metal, it's great.2. Range - I tested by walking through 4 walls outside of an office building, with 2 wireless routers and 10 cell phones in between, and everything continued to record well at a distance of 60-80 feet when I was away from the receiver.3. Stability. During the test I did above, the recording was clear all the time, with no stability issues, no pops, no drop in volume, no glitches. It sounded good and clear.4. Lots of stuff in the box - it had everything I wanted to add to this dual mic set because of the two mics. I'm so glad it came with windshields already.5. The LCDs are clear displays with fairly easy-to-read stats that tell you all the info you need, and the mics even tell you the battery level, which I thought was pretty cool. CONS: 1. Very low tone - not really a con as the sound is what some people are looking for. It has a slightly too low tone that sounds a bit boomy if you have a deep voice. You can hear it in the video. At the same time it sounds pretty smooth.2. batteries. Batteries are not included, just thought I'd let you know somewhere in this review. FINAL THOUGHTS: Do I recommend this? Yes I would, it was a good set of mics and probably best suited for interviews, podcasts, YouTube, stage sermons and higher register singing.
