We ordered 2 packs of champagne and were able to seal 164 envelopes leaving about a quarter of the second pack. When we started we probably could have used a little more wax on a few envelopes, but we wanted to make sure we had enough wax and we definitely did. Pro tip: Dip the metal stamp in cold water or ice after each pair of stamps - otherwise the stamp will stick to the wax because the metal stamp will get too hot after stamping a lot. I dipped the stamp in cold water, wiped dry with a kitchen towel and then stamped with wax. Also, if you can ask someone to help you, ask them to put the wax on the envelope first and then give it to you to print - the process is much quicker if you have a small assembly line. We received a lot of great feedback when our guests started receiving invitations in the mail. And we can also let our photographer use them for detailed shots of our wedding. All in all, the wax is a bit pricey, but worth it if you like the classic look of a wax seal! So glad we used it and plan on buying more for future events!
