When your truck is $60,000 and you put a $30 protective mat on it and you're pissed that it doesn't work. it is your fault. However, my old work truck had its tailgate replaced and needed some protection. It does the job, not as expensive or as good as real rhino chow, but it really does the job. Installation was easy, if you can change the oil you can install this. Seriously, drill some big enough pilot holes and the included hardware won't be "junk" as everyone here says. As for durability? Who knows, I'm selling a truck and getting it out of here was the finishing touch.
