I have ridden 4000 miles in these gloves and they are great! No lies, for $30 or whatever. When these wear out I will buy another set. I've ridden from 90° to 30° and they work well. The hands are still warm at 50°, underneath they get chili peppers. They also breathe well in warm/hot weather. The hardened knuckles are comfortable and well positioned, the material feels nice, not too thick but you can tell you're wearing gloves. Good padding on the palms, if they break they obviously feel better so I'll defer checking until I've ridden them a few miles. I'm 5'9, 180, I'm tall, I wear a size 11-12 engagement ring, and they fit well in a small space, they can be worn with a pair of thin cloth gloves (very thin) for cold weather. Riding if necessary, but that can stretch them. Maybe it would be possible to get the medium, but they would have to be stretched. I don't like it when riding gloves are too tight and make my hands sweat. I can pick up small items like pencils, but I don't type on my phone. I can get my wallet out of my back pocket and my card, but I can only use two fingers to get my phone out of my front pocket. It's comfortable on long trips and easy on short trips. Overall I'm happy with them and would buy again, I might buy a medium and try them on to see if they fit.
