I had trouble assembling this bed, for starters the center headboard is made from a cheap very thin piece of pressed board, so hopefully not If there's a hole in it, like a kick or something, because I could break it with my bare hands if I wanted to, I had to be careful when assembling that my children didn't play with it. There are also two legs in the middle of the bed that hold two rails that are not made in one piece. Each of these are in two parts so 4 pieces in total I had to drill self tapping screws they had no holes for me or anything I ended up using power tools it was too difficult to tighten the screws by hand with a screwdriver and I guessed because I didn't want to put holes in the wrong place, the instructions were a bit confusing at times. Definitely don't look at the pictures The main reason seems to be that they need a bracket that holds the rails together on the rails, but the next step revealed that it appeared to be on the leg and not the rails . Some of my parts didn't have the part number decals on them. With each piece (e.g. A1 and D1) it literally took me three hours to build this bed myself to know what it was. I had to wait for my husband but was itching to assemble my son's double bed myself and they have a cubical organizer so I thought I could handle this bed but I was partially wrong, I mean I finally figured it out , but it was a pain. Bed slats also I would put two and two would fall out, I had to ask my son to help me eventually, the slats didn't all go in well, some of them I had to twist to get in. Overall I think it's a pretty good bed now that it's together, but a lot easier with two people than one, for some reason the black one was the most expensive, I paid $100 and I don't feel like that it cost so much, probably more than $70 as white. The only thing that really surprised me was that the delivery was very fast, I ordered on February 17th and it was said that I would receive on March 3rd to 12th and I got it on the 19th or Received Feb 20th so it was good, let's see how it holds up, hope it will after all the work to build it! I wish I could look around a bit more, but that's okay, it will work at least for a while.
