Almost perfect for flashlights

I love this little guy. It's bright, tiny, comfortable, looks pretty neat, and doesn't cost a fortune. Unfortunately, the sticks are not perfect. It has two glaring flaws that keep it from achieving 5-star status. 1) The "smart storage" feature, or whatever they call it, is pretty much useless and just makes it harder to use. A much better alternative would be an instant shutdown if the light is on for more than 5 seconds. Simple, clear, functional. Instead we have this wonky system that remembers the last lighting setting you used if you used it for more than 8 seconds and then turned it off. but only every second activation. sorry but what? 2) Magnetic charger. It's a great idea and I really want you to like it. I love it but I also hate it. I hate that the cord is about 1 foot long which means it never reaches for anything other than straight to the ground. Anyway, there's no point in having a quick-dock flashlight if you have to tuck it under furniture for frequent charging, right? This guy has a spot on your bedside table or on your desk where you can grab it at all times, and you CANNOT keep it there because of that silly short cord. Since the connector is proprietary and the cord is fixed, good luck if you ever lose or damage it. Torchy is almost dead at this point, which is a real shame since the lantern itself is built like a tank. Problem 1 is an annoyance to live with. It shouldn't be there and can and should be easily fixed with the embedded controller firmware (something you and I can't really do but can easily be done at the factory for all future productions). However, problem 2 is a more serious problem and I think nebo should seriously consider solving it. I would suggest enlarging the magnetic connector a bit to accommodate the USB-C connector so users can plug in their own cables and swap out if needed. I would also put 2 of these chargers in each box instead of 1, or alternatively sell magnetic induction chargers separately so users can buy replacements.
