Compared to other dressers currently available this one is the clear winner! It was assembled in a matter of hours by one person, sometimes two for stability, but most of the time one person could do it. The only issue we had was a tiny tear in the hair due to the screw being over tightened. However, the tear isn't visible with the drawers closed and we noticed how tight it was too tight. I replaced the handles with something that fits the style of the room a little better (but still won't get stuck in your pockets!). The standing height of this chest of drawers is perfect and much more comfortable for changing. The topper (replaceable side frame holder) can be easily removed in the future without damaging the dresser. And the drawers open fully, so you don't have to blindly reach for things stored in the back of the drawer. It's also VERY heavy for assembled furniture, and even with all the drawers open it doesn't want to tip over (although it has fasteners to attach to the wall). There was a slight paint/varnish smell for about a week so we just left the drawers open until it went away.
