I sat on wooden benches with much more comfort than this chair. That's not an exaggeration, it's not practical for long-term use. After 30 minutes in this chair, I jumped up, yelped verbally in pain, and grabbed my old seat. I'd like to add just one cushion, but it also doesn't adjust as low as many short chairs, and that adds to the discomfort at. I have no idea how I would get such a big chair back so I guess I just left. It's already gathering dust in the corner because I don't have time to take it apart and try to put it back in its packaging.
